The world's first fully electric Range Rover!

After years of anticipation, Range Rover has finally unveiled its first fully electric off-roader. The model, retaining its recognizable design and legendary off-road capability, is now on sale and actively open for orders in key markets.

At the heart of the vehicle is a battery with a capacity of 118,5 kWh featuring a two-tier layout, providing a range of up to 600 km on the WLTP cycle and about 535 km in real-world conditions. Two electric motors develop 550 hp and a torque of 850 Nm — the highest figure in the model's history. Thanks to the 800-volt architecture, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4,3 seconds, placing the electric Range Rover on par with V8 versions. Charging from 10 to 80% at a station with a power of 350 kW takes 22 minutes, and in 10 minutes you can add approximately 220 km of range.

Production has been launched at the British plant in Solihull — the birthplace of the Range Rover since 1970. The model is available in short- and long-wheelbase versions with SE, HSE, Autobiography, SV, and SV Black trims. The signature off-road capability remains uncompromised: the wading depth stays at 900 mm, and the traction control system responds to wheel slip in 5 milliseconds — a hundred times faster than internal combustion engines.

The Range Rover Electric is built on the MLA-Flex platform, a versatile architecture supporting both electric and traditional powertrains. This allowed engineers to preserve the brand's characteristic traits without compromises. The battery is equipped with the ThermAssist thermal management system, which saves up to 40% energy when heating the cabin in extreme conditions. The electronics monitor over 900 diagnostic parameters of the battery, and the warranty on the battery and electric motors is eight years or 100 000 miles. Overall, more than 300 patented technologies are integrated into the electric vehicle's design. Additionally, owners gain access to the Tesla Supercharger network in North America via the built-in NACS port and retain the ability to tow up to 2,5 tons.

Pricing. In the US, the base SE version starts at $138 000, and in the UK at £154 070. This is roughly 25 thousand more expensive than a comparable petrol variant, reflecting the premium for the electric architecture and abundant torque. First deliveries in European countries are expected at the end of 2026, with other markets following in 2027.

The Range Rover Electric symbolizes a new era of luxury SUVs — the brand proves that electrification does not require sacrificing off-road capability, comfort, or the status of an iconic model. It is not just an electric vehicle, but a reimagining of what is possible in the premium segment.
