What happens when you write by hand?-1

❓QUESTION:
I have taken various trainings on working with the brain, and many of them included practices of repeatedly writing by hand various texts and phrases that supposedly change one's background inner state. What do you think in principle about such or similar practices of writing various "manifestos," intentions, affirmations, helping one to enter a desired emotional state?
❗️ANSWER lee:

I don't think, I know how these processes work. Each has its own specificity, and they shouldn't be lumped together under the heading of "writing."
For example, when you write about a problem you have found yourself in, it is a way to take it out of the body and put it onto paper.
If you write a full-fledged description of your sensations, it is a way to get rid of being stuck in a loop, because the mind tends to run a thought around in circles without turning it all the way through. A person doesn't even realize that he cuts the thought off at half a phrase and again launches an endless circle of half a thought.
If you are doing an affirmation, that is yet another topic, to which a book is devoted by the person who coined that very word. That is the case when it is useful to read the book, so as not to call all sorts of repetitions of whatever comes to hand affirmations.
Well, in that vein there is a mass of all sorts of things on other topics connected with "writings."
