Does Praying to God Make Sense?-1

I recently encountered Neale Donald Walsch's book, 'Conversations with God.' What are your thoughts on these discussions, and does praying to God make sense if, fundamentally, everything depends on us?

Lee's Response: This is a truly remarkable series of books. It appears there were four main volumes, followed by commentaries, all of which progressively expand upon one another.

In these writings, God directly tells the author, 'I am you.' Therefore, if one follows this logic, the very concept of praying to a separate entity becomes moot.

What you might wish to communicate with yourself is not precisely prayer; rather, it is the self-acknowledgment of Creation. If you find this perspective challenging, then consider that prayer is solely about what you ACKNOWLEDGE and for what you GIVE THANKS, not what you ask for.

As it is said, 'before you ask, the Heavenly Father already knows.' You will not convey anything new to God through a request. Instead, you can express yourself by showing appreciation for what already exists.

Ultimately, prayer is the art of appreciation and acceptance.
