Immediately after the release of the seventh batch of PURSUE materials astrophysicist Avi Loeb, chairman of the UAP Science Advisory Council, published his analysis and gave an interview. His attention focused not only on the triangular object of 2026 but also on other documents in the tranche that he considers important.
Loeb noted that the materials coming from the Pentagon and the intelligence community consistently repeat two types of objects — spheres and triangles. They appear over strategically important sites. According to him, the current data from the tranches is insufficient to determine the nature of the phenomenon. "We won't be able to figure it out based on what these releases give us. It's not enough," he stressed. The main conclusion Loeb draws concerns the need for a different approach. He proposed placing higher-quality sensors precisely in the places where triangular objects and spheres have already been recorded. "It's a win-win proposition," Loeb said. "Either we help national security, or we make the biggest discovery in science."
He dwelt in particular on historical materials connected with the ranch in Utah (known as Skinwalker Ranch). The seventh release includes a BAASS report on investigations from 2010 and monthly reports. Loeb drew attention to the fact that in one of the BAASS documents, BAASS directly asks the DIA to assist in obtaining access to "biological material of potentially non-human origin." The same document describes attempts to establish contact on the territory of the ranch — the wording "we were acted upon." In addition, BAASS funded a study of disclosure scenarios, including the reaction of society, the media, religion and science to a possible publication of government files on UAP. One of the scenarios is precisely the official release of declassified documents.
Loeb stressed that he occupies a position between the "believers" and the "skeptics." He does not accept any of the versions in advance and insists on gathering evidence. "In science you don't need to know the answer in advance. You need to collect clues like a detective," he noted. Asked whether a clear answer from the government would ever appear, Loeb replied that he hopes for clarification within a year or two and that President Trump will be able to announce the results.
For Loeb, the seventh release became yet another confirmation: objects of a certain type continue to be recorded, biological samples and disclosure scenarios have already been discussed within special programs, and the existing data-collection system is insufficient. Materials that previously remained closed are now coming out. The disclosure process continues.
