The discussion of unidentified anomalous phenomena has reached the level of official public statements by representatives of Congress and leading scientists. On August 19, 2026, Congressman Eric Burlison spoke directly about the actions of American agencies. According to him, the agencies analyzed past observations, identified the conditions that attract these objects, and purposefully recreated them at a site with known prior activity. Representatives from the ODNI, CIA, FBI, and military intelligence were present at the location. As a result, something appeared.
Thank you for your visionary leadership, @EricBurlison. the @UAPSAC under my leadership, is currently following up on this case with the goal of studying UAP in the field through the deployment of new, unclassified sensors and advanced scientific tools.
Our own agencies went back through every past sighting, asked what draws these things in, then recreated those conditions on purpose at a site with prior activity. ODNI, CIA, FBI and military intelligence were all on site. Something showed up.
Burlison separately described the observed behavior: the objects hover in place and then instantly accelerate to supersonic speeds. He emphasized that the people who briefed him state themselves that they do not know the nature of these phenomena. These are not assumptions or interpretations—this is a public report from an elected representative regarding the content of official briefings.
The following day, Professor Avi Loeb, who heads the UAP Scientific Advisory Board for the U.S. government, responded to these statements. He confirmed that the board under his leadership is investigating this case and is planning field research using new unclassified sensors. Loeb reported that the board has already submitted a request for more than 50 items of information regarding past incidents—data that goes beyond previously published materials. At the same time, joint work with the government is underway to prepare for the experiment: scientists, together with agency representatives, intend to go into the field, set up instruments, and collect fresh measurements.
These statements directly continue the previous line of events that have been spoken about publicly: attempts to create conditions for the appearance of objects, to record them, and to study them. All of this is being voiced not in closed offices and not in the form of rumors, but in open comments by a congressman and a scientist appointed to advise the administration. In an interview with The Sol Foundation, Loeb clarified that the board works with unclassified data but is persistently requesting additional materials, and the planned experiment is intended to provide measurable information instead of relying solely on old testimonies.
Thus, we are talking about a public discussion of specific steps: the analysis of archival cases, the reproduction of conditions, the appearance of objects, and the transition to joint scientific field work. The statements by Eric Burlison and Avi Loeb document this process at the level of official representatives of Congress and the scientific community working with the government.
