🐬 A fisherman went out to fish — and the dolphins had already shown up for their shift

In Florida, a story is unfolding that sounds like the opening of a very strange employment contract.

One fisherman began to notice that several dolphins regularly come to him at night and effectively take part in the fishing.

That is, the man goes out to sea alone.

But the crew is already there:

— Good evening. We're from the marine department. Where's the fish?

And the most interesting part is that this is not a random episode. The dolphins come back again and again, work alongside the same man, and seem to understand exactly what he is doing.

For researchers this is especially curious, because such sustained cooperation between humans and dolphins in the United States has hardly ever been documented.

It ends up being an almost fully fledged crew:

the fisherman is in charge of the gear,
the dolphins are in charge of reconnaissance,
the ocean is in charge of the raw materials.

All that's left is to get them corporate T-shirts.

Probably the funniest thing about this story is that the dolphins, it seems, don't wait for an invitation at all.

Just imagine:

in the evening the man is thinking:

— Today I'll just fish in peace, on my own.

He goes out to sea.

And there:

— Well, finally. We've been waiting for you for ten minutes.

And somewhere around that moment it becomes clear: this is no longer a fisherman with dolphins.

This is a small family business. 😄

And if things keep going this way, soon one of the dolphins will be in charge of logistics, the second — of finding schools of fish, and the third will say:

— Sorry, I'm working remotely today.
