Can the Creator be a bearded old man

❓QUESTION:
Gurdjieff in his book often mentions the CREATOR ALMIGHTY, and it seems, among other things, as an external manifestation. You mentioned that aspects of consciousness can manifest in personalities, as in the case of Shiva. Is this the same case, and  after all, can there be a "bearded old man"?
❗️ANSWER lee:
After all, Gurdjieff studied with the mystics of the East, the keepers of traditions. And the traditions of those years had long since become mixed with the linguistic barrier of society. That is, he voiced what had been "worn smooth," in order to convey the very idea to his contemporaries. It was a time of the beginning of awakening, a preparation for our days.
Therefore I am not inclined to stretch verbal interpretations from the past onto modern understanding.
In about a hundred years, our dialogues too will seem too "hackneyed" because of our formulations.
Shiva, Ra, Osiris, Krishna… — they all could be represented in personalities, but they could not fit within them. In personalities they expressed themselves in order to convey certain limited ideas that that society needed. It is like a smartphone — it can be very technologically advanced, but it does not contain within itself the very technologies that created it — it is a tool, a one-time embodiment "in hardware" of certain ideas.
In general, in Gurdjieff's "Beelzebub's Tales" there was a different context of the Creator. There the idea of the "cosmic center" of the Galaxy was set forth. This is a type of consciousness which, in our terms, is at the 12-th level and contains within itself the IDEA realized in what is expressed in the form of our Galaxy. Today we would call this "place" a White Hole giving birth to matter. A "hole," because its very foundation goes into a non-physical state.
And, if you like, this "hole" is something like a "megaphone," radiating something like a "sound." That very "chorus of the Universe," traveling as a wave of "dark energy," twisted into a spiral that creates the very concept of time (chronology) of this dimension. What kind of "bearded old man" is there in all this? 😊
