An Oregon resident Risa Anderson Bates noticed that a smell so strong had appeared in the house that it became impossible to endure.
After a while it became clear: the source was somewhere under the house.
And instead of simply closing the windows, leaving for a couple of days and pretending the problem didn't exist, Risa put on a mask and went to check.
Under the house, an answer awaited her.
A skunk.
Moreover, it was quite alive and, judging by everything, very displeased that its personal space was suddenly being inspected.
According to Risa, the animal spent nearly an hour releasing under the house everything it was capable of. She described what happened as a real concentrate of smell and "hatred for humanity."
In the end, the woman still managed to reach the skunk, pull it out from under the house, and set it free.
The most wonderful thing happened after the rescue operation.
Risa told her husband everything, and he replied:
"You wanted abundance. You should have been more specific."
The internet, of course, appreciated it.
Some users called Risa a heroine, others admitted they rewatched the video several times, and especially popular was the moment when she actually decided:
"Well, that's it, we're pulling out this fragrant tenant."
The skunk ultimately left alive and unharmed.
The house also survived.
But the question of how many days it took for the smell to completely disappear from there is diplomatically avoided by the story. 😄
