The rapid launch on the Blinkit platform turned into an instant sellout. On 23 October at 8:15 a.m., sales of the foldable iPhone Duo began in Delhi and the NCR — and the entire available stock disappeared in five minutes.

Blinkit founder Albinder Dhindsa wrote about this on X: "We launched the iPhone Duo on Blinkit at 8:15 a.m. (Delhi NCR only). All units sold out in 5 minutes. We're working on new supplies in the coming weeks."

Sales were limited to the Delhi NCR region. The company did not disclose how many smartphones were in the first batch.

The iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable model. The base version with 256 GB costs around 3 lakh rupees, with top configurations up to 4,5 lakh. The platform already partners with Apple and offers other new products from the brand in several cities across India.

The rapid departure of the product from the shelves underscores interest in premium electronics through quick commerce. At the same time, the limited geography and the lack of precise stock figures leave the question open: how large-scale was demand beyond the first batch?

Dhindsa promised new supplies in the coming weeks, but there are no exact dates yet. Blinkit continues to test the format of delivering expensive electronics, where speed and convenience are becoming key factors.
