Abigail and Kiragu decided not to rent a restaurant or a beautiful wedding hall, but instead held the ceremony right by the National Archives of Kenya in central Nairobi.
3 October in Nairobi (Kenya), the bride arrived in a white wedding dress, the groom in a gray suit, and romantic music played nearby.
At first, passersby thought a film or a social media video was being shot here. But when Kiragu got down on one knee and put a ring on Abigail's finger, it became clear: the wedding was real.
People began to stop, film what was happening, applaud, and even dance along with the newlyweds. In the end, random passersby and shoppers turned into a huge unplanned wedding party.
The savings on the guest list are maximal: no one was invited, yet hundreds came. π
And what is especially wonderful is that some people had simply gone out in the morning to run errands, and by midday discovered they were already celebrating at a stranger's wedding.
