While most newborns are just getting used to life outside their mother's belly, one baby from Egypt seems to have decided right away to show everyone around him how to properly handle what's happening.
On 18 October 2026, in Egypt, pediatrician Islam Eldeh published a video of a baby who instantly became a little internet star. The reason is simple: the child was lying there looking as if he hadn't been born a few minutes ago, but had at the very least returned from a short but very high-quality vacation.
The baby settled in calmly, putting both hands behind his head and crossing one leg over the other. No panic. No outrage. None of the fuss that usually accompanies a first acquaintance with the world.
Only absolute inner calm.
It looked as if he hadn't just come into the world, but had already managed to analyze everything and arrive at a philosophical conclusion:
"Well, yes, the world is noisy. People get nervous. But personally, I'm in no hurry to go anywhere." ๐
Internet users, of course, couldn't pass by such a level of relaxation. Many joked that the baby had mastered work-life balance before he'd even properly opened his eyes. Others wrote that he was the only person on the planet who already knew the secret of inner equilibrium from his first day of life.
And indeed โ while adults spend years learning to meditate, go to yoga, read books about harmony and try to "be in the moment," this child simply lay down more comfortably and demonstrated it all right away without any unnecessary words.
It seems he became the first baby to enter this world with the attitude:
"Wake me up when something really important starts." ๐
The funniest thing about this story is that many adults, looking at him, surely recognized themselves. Or rather โ the version of themselves they'd very much like to become: calm, unflappable and unresponsive to the chaos around them.
In short, the baby has a great future ahead of him.
If he already knows how to relax like that on the first day of his life, then by the time he starts school he might begin teaching courses on stress management. ๐ถโจ
