🐍 A rather unusual "lost pet" was brought to the animal control service — 4 October, Indiana, USA.
The staff at Evansville Animal Care and Control are used to lost dogs and cats. But this time they received a pet snakethat had been found without an owner.
The organization even posted a slightly bewildered announcement along the lines of: "Well… this is something new. Did anyone lose a snake?"
The presumed owner was asked to come in person and confirm that the reptile really belonged to him.
Picture the evening family conversation:
"Did you lose anything today?"
"The keys are here. The phone too…"
"And the snake?"
"…Just a second. 😄"
All in all, a typical day at the animal control service: cat, dog, dog, cat… snake.
