QUESTION:
Lee, could you please explain the concept of the Soul—not the common definition, but something closer to the truth that exists beyond time? Specifically, to what "level of individualization" does the Soul belong if all things exist simultaneously?
Does the Soul relate to a specific incarnation and trajectory of connections—for instance, where I am Tanya or Masha with a similar genetic makeup across different versions of myself, like being a world leader or a clerk—or does the Soul encompass multiple incarnations with entirely different DNA in entirely different points in space-time? Is this what we call the "Higher Self" or "Oversoul"? Or is it something else?
ANSWER from Lee:
The "Soul" is a human concept used to denote the level at which the Source distinguishes between different directions of experience. It is much like saying, "This is my path toward Point A, and this is my path toward Point B."
Generalizations like the "Oversoul" are simply groupings of these various directions. It is similar to saying, "This is my right, this is my left... and that is my up."
Then there is the term "Higher Self," which represents the individuality of a person who, in their full development, integrates this aspect as a complete personality with the sum of their physical experience, both realized and unrealized. Ultimately, you are fundamentally indistinguishable from your Higher Self.
Alternatively, you could say that you, as the Higher Self, are the actor playing the role of a specific person, while the Soul acts as both you and the director. The Oversoul, in this metaphor, represents the entire film studio.
DNA is merely the film set constructed for these specific purposes. Neither the actor nor the director exists within the DNA itself.
DNA performs the technical function of the filming process. Technically, it is a frequency that sustains physical form. This is why different types of "productions" or incarnations require different sets, which translates to different DNA configurations.
