In East Sussex, they are searching for a very unusual fugitive — a six-banded armadillo named Stanley. 🐾
Stanley lived at Animal Magic near Hailsham until at some point he decided that the enclosure was more of a suggestion than a mandatory place of residence. The armadillo opened the door on his own and set off into freedom.
Soon he was spotted on the popular walking trail Cuckoo Trail, between Hailsham and Polegate.
What is especially wonderful is that this is not Stanley's first escape. The owner recalls that once the armadillo ran away right during a children's party — and the owner had to chase after him quite briskly to bring the fugitive back.
Now they assume that Stanley may be heading where it smells of food: nearby there is a farm shop and tourist tents.
In general, the escape plan looks well thought out:
break the door → get onto the tourist trail → find lunch.
Revolution is revolution, but a free armadillo must have his snack on schedule. 😄
