On June 25, Czech private carrier Leo Express will launch a new international rail route spanning over 1,300 km, positioning it as one of the longest direct train services in Europe. According to Euronews, tickets for segments between Poland and Germany will be available starting from 10 euros.
Route and Destinations
The train will run once daily in each direction, providing a direct link between Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany. Departing from Przemyśl near the Ukrainian border, the service will travel through Krakow, Ostrava, Prague, Dresden, Leipzig, and Erfurt, before reaching its final destinations at Frankfurt am Main and Frankfurt Airport.

The new route is noteworthy for its sheer scale, as the 1,300-km journey ranks among the most extensive non-stop rail links on the continent. For passengers, this offers the opportunity to travel across multiple major European hubs on a single service without the need for transfers.

The service is scheduled to begin operations on June 25, marking its debut later this month. Leo Express, the Prague-based private operator of international trains and buses, officially announced the introduction of the new line.
