The U.S. Department of State has announced an allocation of nearly $2 billion for partnerships with faith-based and community organizations. These funds are designated for global health and humanitarian assistance worldwide.

This represents the largest distribution of health-related foreign aid to faith-based organizations in over two decades. The announcement underscores the Trump administration's commitment to collaborating with partners who have consistently demonstrated effectiveness in even the most challenging environments.

Of the total sum, $1.4 billion will be directed toward strengthening integrated health services. Through the Faith and Community Initiative Award, World Vision and a consortium of local partners are set to receive up to $850 million over five years to support more than 2,500 hospitals, clinics, and centers across 17 countries.

An additional $570 million will go directly to hospitals and clinics through memoranda of understanding with various country governments. This arrangement will ensure that at least 80% of resources are spent on direct patient healthcare services, marking a significant increase from the previous 35–40%.

Another $538 million has been allocated for humanitarian response efforts. These funds, channeled through Samaritan’s Purse and a World Vision consortium with Compassion International, are projected to reach 7 million people in 16 crisis situations. Over $100 million will be immediately available for disaster relief in 23 vulnerable countries.

These partners possess extensive experience: Samaritan’s Purse operates in over 100 countries and is known for rapidly deploying field hospitals. World Vision reached 35.6 million people in 104 emergencies in 2025. Compassion International collaborates with tens of thousands of local churches in 29 countries.

In many of the countries receiving U.S. assistance, faith-based healthcare providers account for 40% or more of all medical facilities. Utilizing their established networks allows for faster and more effective delivery of aid to where it is most critically needed.

This is a very BIG deal, so let me break it down. The International Maritime Organization (IMO), the UN body regulating maritime transport, will vote this Friday to finalize their “net zero framework” for shipping across the board. 🚢 Beginning in 2028, all ships will need to

No taxation without representation. Being taxed by the UN would be far more offensive than the taxes imposed by Great Britain against the American colonies more than 250 years ago. Those taxes sparked the American Revolution. The UN should be defunded, not seeded with new
