Garmin has unveiled the Enduro 4 — a new smartwatch for ultramarathoners, hikers and fans of multi-day adventures. The model launched on 6 October 2026 and is available from 9 October at a price of 899,99 dollars.
The main innovation is battery life of up to 320 hours in activity mode when using solar charging and up to 90 days in smartwatch mode. The watch is equipped with a 1,4-inch MIP display with a Power Sapphire solar lens, new power modes and an updated map engine that speeds up panning by 30 %.
The Enduro 4 has 50 % more RAM compared to the Enduro 3, 64 GB of built-in storage for maps and music, as well as new tools: grade-adjusted pace for assessing effort on climbs, endurance zones, a stamina curve and the Garmin Epic feature, which combines activities over weeks into a single timeline. The case with a diameter of 51 mm weighs 66 grams, is made of polymer with a titanium bezel, has 10 ATM water resistance and a flashlight with white and red light.
Compared to its predecessor, the Enduro 3, the new model offers twice the storage, improved map performance and additional endurance metrics, while retaining the same price and claimed battery life. It lacks a speaker and microphone, as well as the 40-meter dive rating found on some Fenix 9 models.
In the comparison segment, the Enduro 4 is cheaper than the Fenix 9 Pro (from 1199 dollars) and offers better battery life thanks to the MIP screen and solar charging, but falls short in display brightness compared to AMOLED versions. For those who value weeks without recharging on long distances, the Enduro 4 is one of the most balanced options in its class.
