F VALENTINE’S DAY Trailer (2026) Virginia Gardner

We decided not to wait for Valentine's Day so as not to miss the chance to tell you about this film again. Especially since it isn't strictly tied to the date either. But we won't spoil anything—we'll just tell you how it feels.

'Happy Bloody Valentine!' — is a very light romantic comedy that is easy to watch and leaves a surprisingly pleasant aftertaste.

The film doesn't try to be a great drama, doesn't weigh you down with complex meanings, and doesn't leave you sitting in silence for a long time afterward, digesting what you've seen.

It just flows easily.

Yes, as the story progresses, there are some inconsistencies, moments where you might question the logic, or where the plot takes certain liberties. But the best part is— by the end, everything somehow levels out.

And in the end, you don't feel like counting what went wrong anymore.

Because after watching it, you're left with a completely different feeling.

You turn off the movie and suddenly realize that you're walking around with a smile.

Not because you saw something grand or incredibly original. It's just that the film leaves behind that rare feeling of joy, lightness, and a kind of human wonderfulness.

The plot revolves around Gina, who isn't particularly fond of Valentine's Day. During a trip to Greece, she realizes that her relationship might soon move to the next level, and she isn't quite ready for it. What follows is a romantic muddle, attempts at soul-searching, unexpected encounters, and, of course, love in all its less-than-convenient manifestations.

The film was released on February 5, 2026.

Starring— Virginia Gardner, Skylar Astin, Jake Cannavale, Sabrina Bartlett and Marisa Tomei (who was just as magnificent in the very recent film "The Mongoose"). Also appearing in the picture are Natasha Leggero and Lil Rel Howery.

It is separately a pleasure to see Marisa Tomei — she adds warmth to the film and a kind of grown-up, cozy charm.

Gaya's rating: 8.0/10.

Such a high score is precisely for the feelings of joy and lightness after watching. This is that rare case when a comedy doesn't try to be too smart or too stupid — it simply works well. Greek landscapes, lively dialogue, a pleasant pace and a heroine you sincerely sympathize with, even when she does foolish things. The film leaves behind a soft, warm aftertaste — as if you've just spent a good evening with friends, rather than simply watched yet another rom-com. And such a high score here is precisely for the feelings after watching.

Because sometimes you want to dissect a film by its script, editing, logic and acting.

And sometimes something else matters far more:

you turn off the movie — and you simply feel good.

This is exactly that kind of case.
