Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Vietnam from April 14-15 at the invitation of Vietnamese leaders Tô Lâm and Lương Cường. The visit aims to strengthen the China-Vietnam friendship, enhance strategic trust, deepen cooperation, and advance the development of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future. This visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Xi will meet with Vietnamese leaders including Tô Lâm, Lương Cường, Phạm Minh Chính, and Trần Thanh Mẫn. Prior to Vietnam, Xi will also visit Malaysia and Cambodia. China prioritizes relations with neighboring countries, and this Southeast Asia tour is expected to promote the comprehensive development of China's relations with Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, and ASEAN.
