Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by a high-level delegation including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, will meet with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The meeting will focus on progress in areas of mutual interest. Both sides are expected to sign several agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus. In late November 2024, Lukashenko visited Islamabad, where discussions covered political relations, trade and investment, defense cooperation, and regional issues. During that visit, the Pakistani Prime Minister expressed his hope to create new avenues for cooperation and partnership and briefed the Belarusian leader on his government's economic revitalization policy, which is geared towards export-led growth and attracting investment. Pakistan and Belarus concluded 15 agreements and memorandums, including a Roadmap for Comprehensive Cooperation for 2025-2027.
