On 29 October 2026, OnePlus presented the Ace 7 series in China — two models with a record-breaking 9000 mAh battery and an active cooling system. The main novelty is a built-in fan in the Pro version, which, according to the company, reduces the temperature of the body and the chip to 10 °C during long gaming sessions.
Both models are aimed at gamers and are equipped with a 6,78-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. The system refresh rate reaches 165 Hz, and in supported games — 185 Hz. The body is protected according to the IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K standards, despite the presence of ventilation openings. The back panel is made of fiberglass or glass, and the frame is metal.
The OnePlus Ace 7 Pro received a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while the regular version received its lighter V Series variant. Both smartphones support 100-watt SuperVOOC charging and a bypass power mode during gaming. The main camera on both models is 200 MP with optical stabilization. The Pro is additionally equipped with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3,5x optical zoom, whereas the standard model has a 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module.
Compared with its predecessors, the battery has grown by almost 50% — from 6100 mAh to 9000 mAh. The manufacturer promises up to 7 hours of continuous gaming at 185 fps or 24 hours of video playback. In real-world tests published by IT Home, the Pro version's fan does indeed noticeably reduce heating: after 20 minutes of playing Delta Force, the temperature of the back was about 34 °C versus 44 °C without the fan.
Prices in China start at 4399 yuan (about 655 dollars) for the Ace 7 and 4799 yuan (about 715 dollars) for the Pro in the base 12/256 GB configuration. The smartphones are already available for pre-order on the Chinese OnePlus website. The series most likely will not appear in Europe and the US — OnePlus previously wound down sales in these regions.
For those looking for maximum battery life and stability in games without compromising on body thickness, the Ace 7 Pro looks like the most interesting option in the lineup.
