On 20 October 2026, Motorola unveiled the new Signature smartphone — the first mid-ranger in the Moto G lineup in a long time. The device is positioned as a handset focused on battery life and has been given a battery with a capacity of 5200 mAh based on silicon-carbon technology.

According to PhoneArena, the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 16 GB of RAM and storage of up to 512 GB. The 6,8-inch display has a resolution of 2780 × 1264 pixels. The rear camera is triple, while the front camera is not specified in the official specifications. The body features an aluminum frame, weighs 186 g and is protected to the IP69 standard with additional MIL-STD-810H certification.

The battery supports wired charging at 90 W and wireless charging at 50 W, as well as reverse wireless charging. In PhoneArena tests, the device showed a runtime of about 6 hours in a mixed-use scenario, which is above average for the mid-range segment. The manufacturer emphasizes capacity and charging speed as the model's main advantages.

The smartphone runs on Android 16. Its dimensions are 162,1 × 76,4 × 6,99 mm. The color options are Carbon and Martini Olive. The official price in Europe for the 16/512 GB version is stated at 1000 euros. Availability in other regions has not yet been confirmed.

Compared with previous Moto G mid-rangers, the Signature stands out for its more powerful chip and fast charging, although the battery capacity has remained at the level of 5200 mAh. In the segment up to 1000 euros, its competitors are models with similar screens and processors but different battery life.

For those looking for a mid-ranger with a focus on fast charging and body protection, the Motorola Signature offers concrete figures for the battery and energy replenishment speed, confirmed by the manufacturer's specifications.
