On November 5, 2026, Motorola revealed the full specifications of the Signature 27 flagship. The smartphone is equipped with a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh, the market's first EVS sensor for capturing fast-moving objects, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor.
The new product is positioned as a direct competitor to the Galaxy S26 Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro Max. In the US, the price is $1599 for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Pre-orders will open on November 19, with sales starting on November 26. In Europe and other markets, the device will appear on November 16 at a price ranging from €1399 to €1899 depending on the retailer.
The display is a 6,78-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo (tandem OLED) panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 12 000 nits. The body is made of aluminum and ceramic with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 protection, IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD-810H. Dimensions are 162 × 77 × 8 mm, and weight is 227 g. Compared with its predecessor, the battery has grown by 35%, and the ArcticMesh cooling system has received a vapor chamber that is 40% larger.
The main camera is 50 MP (Sony LYTIA L910) with OIS, an ultrawide 50 MP (122°), and a periscope telephoto 200 MP with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x hybrid zoom. A separate EVS sensor (Event Vision Sensor) registers changes in illumination at the pixel level and works with the Action Shot mode, reducing blur when shooting motion even in low light. The front camera is 50 MP. Video up to 8K@30 fps.
Wired charging is 90 W, wireless charging is 50 W, and reverse charging is available. The software is Android 17 with seven years of updates and GrapheneOS support. The audio system is Bang & Olufsen with Dolby Atmos.
The Signature 27 is noticeably thicker and heavier than its predecessor, and its price is higher than that of many flagships. At the same time, the battery and EVS sensor provide real advantages in battery life and shooting dynamic scenes that direct competitors lack.
