Ford has unveiled an enhanced Ranger model, designated the 'Super Duty,' set to be available in select Asian markets and Australia starting in 2026. This new variant boasts several upgrades designed for heavy-duty use and improved off-road capability. Key enhancements include increased ground clearance, a wider track, and aggressive 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires. The exterior receives a bolder look with a new hood design inspired by Ford's Super Duty trucks and a robust steel front bumper. Off-road accessories, such as a snorkel, are also available. A significant upgrade is the increased towing capacity, which reaches 4500 kg, up from the standard 3500 kg. The Ranger Super Duty will be offered in single, double, and extended double cab versions to cater to various needs. Power comes from a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine, and a large 130-liter fuel tank ensures extended range. For improved traction in challenging conditions, front and rear differential locks are included. The chassis has been reinforced to handle the increased loads, and load-measuring scales are available to help manage payload. The Ranger Super Duty is engineered to be a work-ready truck with enhanced capabilities straight from the factory. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2026, with more details to be released closer to the launch date.
