Nissan has released the first teaser images of its new MPV for the Indian market, a derivative of the Renault Triber. The MPV will feature a similar silhouette to the Triber, including a ribbed stepped roof and upward swept windowline. Design differences are expected in the headlights, grille, and bumper, with C-shaped side vents and a seamless grille-headlight design. The cabin will have a three-row seating layout, with a sliding second row and potentially removable third-row seats. It is expected to use the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, with 5-speed manual and automated manual transmission options. Nissan also confirmed a new compact SUV, a sister model to the upcoming Renault Duster, is due in FY2026.
