Alfa Romeo is gearing up to launch the next-generation Giulia and Stelvio. The high-performance Quadrifoglio variant is expected to deliver around 1000hp. A petrol-powered Quadrifoglio, retaining the current 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6, is also likely. Alfa Romeo confirmed the 513bhp engine would comply with Euro 7 emissions. Order books for the current Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio close at the end of March, with 2.0-liter petrol versions ceasing sales at the end of May. Diesel Stelvio will remain on sale in the UK until the new model arrives. The new models are crucial for Alfa Romeo, whose UK sales have declined in recent years.
