BYD is launching its Denza brand in Europe, offering premium EVs and hybrids. This move, announced at Fuorisalone 2025 in Italy, aims to compete with established brands like BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz. Denza, initially a joint venture with Mercedes-Benz, became a fully owned BYD sub-brand in late 2024. The current Denza lineup includes the D9 minivan, N7 and N8 crossovers, and the Z9 sedan and Z9 GT wagon. Last year, Denza sold 125,674 vehicles. BYD also plans to introduce other sub-brands like Fang Cheng Bao and Yangwang to the European market.
