Le Havre took the lead in the 18th minute, and for a moment it seemed the Ligue 1 leaders might stumble at the bottom of the table. Josh Maja capitalised on a rare lapse in the PSG defence, but eight minutes later everything changed: Achraf Hakimi did not merely respond, he took the match under his control.
The Moroccan defender scored the first hat-trick of his career, provided two assists and was involved in all five of the Parisians' goals. Mika Godts equalised, Hakimi put them ahead, then added two more goals — one from a free kick, the other after a deflection. Senny Mayulu applied the finishing touch. PSG showed how quickly a team can regroup after conceding.
That passage revealed not only Hakimi's individual brilliance but also the depth of Luis Enrique's squad. The Belgian winger Godts and the young Mayulu scored at key moments, while goalkeeper Matvey Safonov rescued the team several times in the second half. PSG controlled 71 percent of possession and took 15 shots, ten of them on target.
For Le Havre, who have collected just two points from nine rounds, this thrashing was yet another confirmation of systemic problems. The team cannot hold a lead even against an opponent who came into the match without several key players. PSG, by contrast, strengthened their four-point lead at the top of the table.
Hakimi, appointed captain, demonstrated how a modern full-back can influence the game not only in defence but also in attack. His runs in behind the defenders, precise passes and shots from mid-range recalled why top-level clubs value versatile players so highly.
This victory is not just another result but a signal: PSG are ready for any twists of the season, relying on leaders capable of turning the course of a match single-handedly.
