A duck family stopped Bathurst 1000-1
Mom said, “Let’s cross the road!”—and the entire motorsport world waited. 😁

🦆 On 10 October, in Bathurst, Australia, during a practice session for the famous race Bathurst 1000 quite calmly came out onto the track a duck with ducklings.

No panic.

No rush.

The family simply decided to cross the road.

The organizers immediately showed yellow flags. The racer Mark Winterbottom sharply slowed down, and the one driving behind him, James Courtney failed to react in time and clipped his car.

Both cars were damaged, the practice was stopped for almost ten minutes, and the duck family was carefully led off the track.

The most wonderful thing is that the ducks turned out to be fine.

That is, officially:

two race cars — damaged,

the session — stopped,

the racers — stressed,

the ducklings — calmly continued their stroll.

The racers were preparing for speeds above 250 km/h.

But the mother duck, it seems, decided:

“Children, don't run. We cross the road calmly.” 😄
