On the evening of 18 October at the Bird Streets club in West Hollywood, Irina Shayk appeared in fully sheer burgundy organza trousers by the London brand Mowalola, cut so low that they revealed her thong.
The forty-year-old model completed the look with a black push-up bra, burgundy shoes, a cross on a chain and a leopard-print mini purse — exactly as on the runway of the brand’s spring-2027 collection.
This was not merely an appearance after the Victoria’s Secret 2026 show, where Shayk walked in two looks for the fourth time in her career. It became the main visual accent of the party, where other guests also experimented with transparency and minimalism.
The brand Mowalola, founded by a Nigerian-British designer, is known for provocative choices; that same evening Bianca Censori appeared in a similar style. Shayk, who ten years ago made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret show while pregnant, now uses the after-party to make a statement about herself differently — without runway wings and corsets.
Earlier, backstage, she spoke of her pride in motherhood and her joy at “sexy push-ups and a fun backstage atmosphere.” The current look seems like a continuation of that conversation: not just a return, but a strengthening of her presence in an industry where age often becomes a barrier.
Photos from the party instantly spread across the tabloids, underscoring how a veteran of the show continues to set the tone even beyond the runway. The question is whether such a level of candour will become the new norm for after-parties or remain a one-off statement.
