Pakistan Advocates for Self-Determination in Kashmir and Palestine at UN; Sends Aid to War-Torn Regions

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammed Ishaq Dar, addressed a special meeting of OIC Ambassadors at the UN on Monday, emphasizing the need for resolving conflicts in Jammu & Kashmir and Palestine. He advocated for allowing the people of these regions to exercise their right to self-determination as promised by the UN.

Senator Dar reiterated Pakistan's commitment to a lasting peace in Palestine, urging a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, unhindered humanitarian assistance, and opposition to the displacement of Palestinians. He reaffirmed support for a two-state solution based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

Pakistan has dispatched relief supplies to Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine. The consignment, including tents and tarpaulin sheets, was sent via chartered flight from Karachi to El Arish International Airport, Egypt. To date, Pakistan has sent 1,861 tons of relief items to these regions.
