China Expresses Dissatisfaction with US Tariffs; US to Reduce Diplomatic Mission in China

Wang hopes to engage with Washington through dialogue and consultations. He communicated these sentiments to U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, emphasizing the importance of economic and trade relations between the two countries. The U.S. is preparing to reduce its diplomatic presence in China by up to 10%. The cuts could affect the embassy in Beijing, consulates in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Wuhan, and the consulate in Hong Kong. The U.S. State Department has not yet commented on the matter.
