Tata Motors has launched the Nexon CNG in India, priced from Rs 8.99 lakh to Rs 14.59 lakh, making it approximately Rs 1 lakh more than the petrol variant.
The Nexon iCNG features a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 98.6 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission. The vehicle boasts a claimed mileage of 24 kms/kg.
Utilizing twin 60-litre CNG tanks, it maintains a cargo space of 321 litres. Safety features include leak detection, thermal protection, and a fire protection kit.
Available in eight trims, notable features include a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, auto headlamps and wipers, and six airbags.
The Nexon iCNG is Tata's fifth CNG offering, contributing to 21% of their sales, with a 15% market share in the CNG passenger vehicle segment.
