The 2025 Google DeepMind AI for Science Scholarships are now available, aimed at supporting African students pursuing postgraduate degrees at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS).
These fully-funded scholarships cover tuition, living costs, and research expenses, providing students with an opportunity to advance in AI, machine learning, and mathematical sciences.
Eligible applicants must meet specific requirements and submit various documents by the March 21, 2025 deadline. The application includes mathematics and coding tasks to assess problem-solving skills, followed by online interviews in May 2025 for shortlisted candidates.
Selected scholars will receive full funding for up to two years, along with stipends for housing and relocation. They will also benefit from access to AI-related conferences and mentorship from Google DeepMind experts, enhancing their academic and professional growth.
