Pathway Secures $10 Million to Develop Real-Time AI Systems

Pathway, a data company based in Menlo Park, California, has raised $10 million in a seed funding round to develop live AI systems that think and learn in real-time like humans. The funding was led by TQ Ventures and included participation from Kadmos, Inovo, Market One Capital, and Id4, along with several angel investors.

The company's technology is designed to support enterprise AI systems capable of processing dynamic structured and unstructured data, enabling organizations to make decisions based on the latest information. Its clientele includes organizations in regulated sectors, such as NATO and La Poste.

Co-Founder and CEO Zuzanna Stamirowska emphasized that live AI will enhance the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) for complex reasoning tasks. The funding will facilitate the development of components necessary for enterprises to leverage real-time intelligence, even when handling sensitive data.

This initiative is spearheaded by co-founders Adrian Kosowski and Jan Chorowski, the latter of whom has a background working with AI pioneer Geoff Hinton.
