Abu Dhabi is set to host an exhilarating indoor skydiving championship from January 20 to 24, 2025, at CLYMB™ Yas Island. This event, organized in collaboration with the Eurasian Skydiving Association, will bring together over 200 elite indoor skydivers from more than 20 countries.
The championship will feature three distinct competitions, showcasing the remarkable skills of these athletes. The inaugural International Indoor Skydiving 8-way Event will emphasize teamwork and precision in wind tunnel settings. Additionally, the first-ever International Wind Tunnel Race Event will introduce unique rules designed specifically for this competition, marking a significant milestone in the sport. The 2nd International Skydiving 16-way Event will also take place, further demonstrating the versatility of indoor skydiving.
Attendees can expect breathtaking displays of aerial artistry, with teams of eight and sixteen skydivers forming intricate geometric shapes and complex patterns mid-air. Moreover, speed skydiving will highlight athletes racing against the clock, showcasing their agility and skill.
CLYMB™ Abu Dhabi is recognized for its record-breaking indoor skydiving flight chamber, which measures 10 meters wide and 32 meters high, making it the largest in the world. This championship not only reinforces the UAE's position as a hub for international sports but also offers a platform for athletes to push the limits of human flight.
