Simona Guatieri, the ex-wife of Senegalese footballer Keita Balde, has spoken out about the betrayal that led to their separation. Balde, who recently returned to Italy to play for Monza, has been at the center of gossip due to a reported affair with Wanda Nara, the wife of Mauro Icardi.
In an interview with Silvia Toffanin on the Italian talk show "Verissimo," Guatieri stated that she and Balde have filed a complaint against Nara and Icardi. "We denounced Wanda and Mauro because we couldn't accept how this story was made public. We are completely different, we prefer to wash our dirty laundry at home. To Icardi, I say focus on football and don't think about gossip," she said.
Guatieri also shared a video in which Balde apologized to her, saying, "Betrayal is a word that hurts: I made the biggest mistake of my life, with the woman of my life. The game played by Mauro and Wanda doesn't belong in my life: they had no heart. Simona is the only woman I will love forever."
