On December 3, 2024, China successfully launched its experimental communication satellite, designated No. 13, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center using a Long March 3B rocket.
The satellite has reached its predetermined orbit, fulfilling all mission objectives.
This new satellite aims to enhance space communication services, develop television broadcasting, and facilitate data transmission, in addition to conducting related technological experiments.
