Former NASCAR driver Mark Martin recounted a chilling UFO sighting during a flight over Jacksonville, Florida, in the late 1990s.
While flying his private jet at 45,000 feet, Martin spotted a solid white light that did not resemble any known aircraft lights. He described the scene: "It's black. Everything except the lights in Daytona, Orlando, and Miami. I see a light that is solid white... it looks like a landing light, but it was far away. I couldn't see the green and red wingtip lights."
As the light approached, Martin became increasingly alarmed, believing a collision was imminent. He stated, "I grabbed the yolk and kicked it off autopilot... and when [the pilot] looked, he pulled out a camera to take a picture because he saw it!" The light eventually pulled away, and after consulting air traffic control, Martin learned he was the only aircraft in the area.
This encounter adds to the growing number of credible UFO sightings and raises questions about unexplained aerial phenomena.
