SUNNYVALE, Calif. & RIYADH, Saudi Arabia—Cerebras Systems has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aramco to enhance artificial intelligence capabilities in Saudi Arabia.
The partnership aims to implement high-performance AI inference across industries, universities, and enterprises, utilizing Cerebras' CS-3 systems to develop large language models (LLMs).
Aramco plans to establish a robust AI computing infrastructure to facilitate local access to advanced AI systems, focusing on optimizing performance for regional business needs.
Andrew Feldman, CEO of Cerebras, remarked, "We are privileged to be working with Aramco to bring high performance, low latency compute and new AI applications to local industries." Nabil Al Nuaim, Aramco’s SVP of Digital & Information Technology, emphasized the MoU's role in fostering an AI-powered digital economy in the region.
