Arab countries are developing a plan to rebuild Gaza without displacing its population. The initiative contrasts with a US proposal to resettle Palestinians in Jordan and Egypt.
Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stated that Jordan cannot accept more Palestinian refugees, as they already constitute 35% of the population. He emphasized that Jordan and other Arab nations prefer a solution that allows Palestinians to remain in Gaza.
The plan aims to enhance security and governance in Gaza and seeks cooperation with Israel for regional peace. Saudi Arabia is reportedly leading the development of this alternative plan.
