Google Introduces 'Activity' Tab for Enhanced Search Management

Google is rolling out a new feature called the 'Activity' tab in its app, designed to streamline how users manage their search history and saved items. This feature aims to replace the current 'Saved' tab, providing a centralized hub for accessing saved content and browsing history across both the Google app and Chrome.

The 'Activity' tab offers a more integrated experience, allowing users to interact with their search and browsing history directly within the app. Users can save, share, or delete individual items, making it easier to organize their online activities.

Currently in testing, the feature has been observed in Google app version 15.44.25.29.arm64 on a Pixel 7 Pro. Although not available to all users yet, a wider rollout is expected in the coming weeks. Screenshots shared by early testers indicate that no additional configurations are needed to access this new functionality, though it has yet to appear on other devices like the Pixel 8 Pro.
