MG Motor India's luxury brand channel, MG Select, is set to launch the Cyberster electric sports car in January 2025. This marks the debut of the Cyberster under the MG Select retail channel, which aims to introduce 12 luxury showrooms across India by 2026.
The Cyberster features a dual-motor configuration, producing a combined output of 510PS and 725Nm of torque, powered by a 77kWh battery pack. Engineered for performance, it includes an advanced motor cooling system for enhanced reliability.
Designed by former Italian Formula 1 engineer Marco Fainello, the Cyberster pays homage to the MG B Roadster with its scissor doors and aerodynamic profile. It offers a balanced 50:50 weight distribution for improved handling.
In the international market, the Cyberster will be available in single and dual-motor variants. The single-motor version boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.0 seconds and a range of 508km, while the dual-motor variant achieves the same sprint in just 3.2 seconds and has a range of 444km.
