SIENA. The Pallanuoto Siena UISP has resumed training since early September and is eager to tackle the 2024/2025 season with enthusiasm.
The competitive teams of Pallanuoto Siena UISP will participate in regional championships, aiming to improve upon last year's results. Recently, the first friendly matches were held for the senior categories, while the Under 12 and Under 14 teams prepare to make a strong impression at the Calcaterra Tournament, set to take place in Colle Val d'Elsa during the All Saints' holiday.
Technical director Marco Mancini expresses confidence in their preparations: “We have started with renewed enthusiasm thanks to the results achieved last year at both regional and national levels. I am very satisfied with the work done in the past, but now we must raise the bar and face the upcoming season with increasingly ambitious goals.”
Mancini highlights the potential within the Siena water polo community: “We have a solid and cohesive base of athletes, supported by a club that believes in us and provides everything necessary to express our full potential. I am convinced that the commitment of all athletes, along with the support of families and UISP, will lead us to a season full of satisfaction.”
He emphasizes the importance of participating in significant competitions like the Calcaterra Tournament: “It will be a great opportunity for the younger players to compete against high-level teams from Central Italy and to enhance their skills, as well as to experience an unforgettable sporting event.”
