From May 2023 to June 2024, the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) received 757 reports of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), with only 118 identified.
Key findings include:
70% of identified cases were balloons and airships.
16% were drones; 8% were birds.
Most sightings (708) occurred in airspace, with 49 in space.
One significant incident involved a cylindrical object nearly colliding with a commercial flight over the Atlantic.
Many reports were misidentified Starlink satellites, with a correlation noted between sightings and satellite launches.
AARO has not found evidence of extraterrestrial life or advanced technologies from foreign adversaries.
