Elon Musk Pledges $1 Million Daily for Trump Supporters Until Election Day

Until November 5, 2024, the date of the U.S. presidential election, Elon Musk has committed to donating $1 million daily to individuals who sign his petition supporting Donald Trump's candidacy.

The billionaire, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, announced this initiative during an event in Pennsylvania on October 19, 2024. He presented the first check of $1 million to John Dreher, a signatory of the petition advocating for the First and Second Amendments of the U.S. Constitution, which guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.

Musk clarified that Dreher was unaware of his win when receiving the check. Only petition signers voting in key states—such as Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Michigan, Georgia, and Nevada—are eligible for the daily prize.

According to federal documents, Musk has contributed approximately $75 million over three months to the political action committee (PAC) he established, known as America PAC, to support Trump's presidential campaign. The PAC has spent around $72 million from July to September, surpassing expenditures by other committees supporting Trump.

As the election approaches, Musk's super PAC is playing a significant role in mobilizing voters for Trump, with all contributions during this period coming directly from Musk. By the end of September, America PAC had $4 million in its account. Musk, who has previously voted for Democratic candidates, publicly endorsed Trump in July.

America PAC has declined to comment on Musk's donations.
