The highest-selling item was a rare yellow gold Rolex Daytona "John Player Special," which Brady wore during a halftime celebration where he was informed of his upcoming Hall of Fame induction. The watch, with a presale estimate of $600,000 to $900,000, sold for $1.14 million.

Other notable items included Brady's final college jersey from Michigan, which fetched $792,000, surpassing its estimated value of $300,000 to $500,000. In total, the auction featured 41 items, significantly exceeding the expected $5.2 to $8.9 million.

Brahm Wachter, Sotheby's Head of Modern Collectibles, expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic response from collectors and fans, stating, "Regardless of their team allegiance, collectors eagerly gathered to admire these cherished mementos from Tom's iconic career." Brady, now an NFL analyst for Fox, is set to call Super Bowl LIX on February 9.
