Royal Air Maroc Launches Direct Flights to Beijing, Boosting Tourism

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has recently announced the launch of a direct flight route connecting Casablanca to Beijing, marking a significant milestone in international travel for Morocco. The inaugural flight took off from Mohammed V Airport on January 20, 2025, at 4:20 PM local time, showcasing the airline's commitment to expanding its global network.

This new service will operate three times a week on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which can accommodate 302 passengers, including 26 in Business Class. Flights will depart from Casablanca every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, landing in Beijing the following day at 11:55 AM local time. Return flights from Beijing will be available on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, leaving at 1:55 PM and arriving back in Casablanca at 8:10 PM.

The resumption of this direct route is expected to significantly enhance Moroccan tourism and strengthen economic ties between Morocco and China. This initiative aligns with RAM's development plan established in July 2023, which also included the recent introduction of new international routes to Toronto and São Paulo.

Travelers looking to explore the rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes of Morocco can now enjoy more accessible travel options, making this an exciting time for tourism in the region.
