Joyful Christmas Dog Walk Raises Funds for Animals in Need

This past weekend, over 100 dogs and their owners gathered for a festive Christmas dog walk in Northampton. Hosted by the charity Animals in Need, the event took place at Bradlaugh Fields on December 22.

The walk was not only a fun outing for families but also a successful fundraiser, bringing in over £1,000 for the charity's holiday efforts. Organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who participated, highlighting the importance of community support.

Nathan Watson from Nathan Watson Dog Behaviour praised the event on Facebook, saying, “Such a fantastic Christmas dog walk! Huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported in any way.” He emphasized the joy of reconnecting with fellow dog lovers and noted the event’s growing popularity as a Christmas tradition.

Animals in Need Northamptonshire thanked all the dog walkers for their generosity and support. They mentioned returning to the rescue with a van full of dogs and Christmas gifts, making the holiday season brighter for many.
