UAE Mandates Emissions Monitoring for Companies Ahead of 2050 Carbon Neutrality Goal

The United Arab Emirates has announced new legislation requiring companies to monitor and report their carbon emissions as part of its strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Effective December 28, all companies emitting 500,000 tons or more of carbon dioxide annually will be mandated to comply with these regulations.
